Yesterday was fast Sunday. The boys fasted as usual, even though it was harder because of not being in our usual situation and there were 4 little ones eating right in front of them. They were strong and did a great job.
Before we left I asked Austin if he was going to help pass the sacrament. He comented that he was a little nervous, and that maybe they did it differetnly at this place. We talked about how the way they organized things might have been different, but that it would all basically be the same. I left it up to him to decide, telling him it was perfectly fine either way. When we got there, the chapel was just the same (fancy that) as usual, but the sacrament table was on the opposite side of the room than in our building. We filled into a row and got all situated. Ausitn didn't make a move at first, but then, without asking, went to greet the people who were preparing the sacrament and got the scoop on how it all worked. And, it all worked out just fine. He didn't even seem nervous or anything.
Then, to add to the "proud mama" moments, all 3 of them bore their testimonies. I knew that they were comfortable doing that at home, but to see them do it, without nervousness, in a strange place, in front of strangers was just wonderful.
And, if that wasn't enough "proud mama" moments - after church my brother in law took Austin out collecting fast offerings. It was his first time - and how awesome that he got to go with family.
What a blessing these 3 sweet spirits are to me. I am so glad to be their mom. I am so proud of the little people they are becoming.

Ok, so why do they still go out and collect fast offerings there? Isn't that why it's on the tithing slip, to avoid having to go out and do it?
